Christmas tree decoration

Since Christmas is around the corner and everyone must be busy completing their list of works and gifts. You also have to buy new clothes and gifts for the ones you love and care about. Isn’t it? But, amidst all this chaos, I hope you are not forgetting the most peaceful and joyous activity of the day.

No!! Aah! It’s the tree decoration.

Every Christmas, as a child, sneaking into a neighbour’s home and trying to get a glimpse of their fully decorated Christmas trees was one of my favourite thing to do back then because no matter how many times you look a Christmas tree or how much different Christmas trees you look, it always seems less.

Though Christmas is itself a happy occasion Tree decoration is one the most beautiful activities of Christmas day and it is special because it involves everyone around us and unites us all. Tree decoration for Christmas isn’t that easy and simple as it sounds. You have to make a list of all the things you have to decorate your tree with and then you have to look onto the budget as well for a pocket-friendly Christmas.

Still not sure what to use and how to decorate it this year?

Well, the components that go into adorning a Christmas tree—lights, garland, tinsel, and ornaments—are ordinary to nearly everyone.  when it comes to assembling a holiday tree that reflects your style, individuality, heritage, and surroundings, the options are nearly limitless. The best Christmas trees are refreshed with layer upon layer of remembering, traditions, and ornaments—both handmade and store-bought and sometimes online ordered too.

 

So, here I am to help you with these things. Firstly, we will discuss all the decorating items and ornaments that we can use to decorate your tree aesthetically so that it looks appropriate for Christmas Eve and party night. And, then secondly, we will discuss how are we going to decorate it.

  • So, the list starts like starts

A thin smile begins with beautiful light. Isn’t it? Whenever you see lightning somewhere, a naturally beautiful curve shows up on your face. Well, a Christmas tree should not only light up the room but the home.

You can put the lights layer by layer on the tree for more effects. Now, the question is what lights you should use there? So, you can use Traditional lights, LED lights or Bubble Lights.

If you want to keep it simple, use Traditional lights. If you want to keep it bright, use LED lights and if you want to keep it small, use bubble lights.

  • Garlands

Garland is something that will add up magic in your Christmas tree. And, Christmas Garlands are a wonderful addition to the crisp of this festivity. There are many garlands that can be put to use in your home. Lighting garlands, perfumer garlands or foliage garlands for your Christmas tree. You can either get them from the store or you can prepare them at home. They add the ambience of festivities in the home. Put them layer by layer and you’re done with the Garlands section of the work.

  • Ribbons Though that’s a traditional way, but using ribbons for decorating your Christmas tree would definitely remind you of your childhood days. How the little you have always enjoy this decoration. Go for it and wrap your Christmas tree in a ribbon proper way.
  • Tinsel

Tinsels are the long strings of shiny paper that are used to cover your Christmas tree from bottom to top in a spiral staircase way. If you want to mimic ice on your Christmas tree, I would suggest you to buy white tinsels that would create an icy look.

  • Wreath

We all know that the circular shape and the evergreen material of the wreath is a representative of eternal life. Christmas wreath is a subtle way to keep the tree with modern classical way.

  • Candy cane

Who doesn’t love candy? And, during Christmas, there is not a reason why one not wants to have sweethearts and sweetest of the candies. Decoration of tree using a candy cane is a good representative of sweet Christmas and everyone enjoy this.

  • Bells

Jingle bells of every size and colour must be available in your nearest market and if you cannot find it there, shop online for them but don’t forget to add the magical sound to the tree.

  • Gingerbread man

Gingerbread man is a folklore about escape from clutches. You can use stuffed gingerbread man, fill it with candies and chocolates.

  • Christmas cookies

You can use chocolates, toffees, candies and other sweets to decorate your Christmas tree.

  • Stars

A beautiful big star is enough to for letting the Santa knows you’re waiting for him in this beautiful room.

  • Christmas stockings

Fill your big stockings with gifts and put a name slip over it and let the joy begin.

  • Minimalist elements

You can add minimalist models and toys of Santa Claus, Elf, Reindeer or my favourite one, Sleigh. These gives a beautiful Aesthetic look to your Christmas tree.

  • Gifts

Just, don’t forget to hide the gifts under the Christmas tree so that when your loved one wake up in the morning, there would be a beautiful joy on their face.

 

Now that you know the elements to decorate the tree, how to decorate it is still a mystery to solve. You can choose a theme to decorate your trees by using these elements. Here they are;

  • Ice tree

Use elements in their white form on the silver branches that give off the retro vibes and layer it with frosty icicles that would make it look cook.

  • Sweet and Serene

Keep it serene by using simple set of ornaments and a big golden star at the top. Don’t weigh it heavy.

  • Goldy gold

The combination of gold, rose gold, silver and bronze would definitely adore the look.

  • Little kids

Use more of the toys, Santa Claus and the minimalist models and your kiddo special Christmas tree is ready.

  • Glamy glam

Using Velvety ribbon and grey coloured snowflakes is a clever way of decorating the tree in a glamorous way.

  • Classy

Oversized Metallica ornaments with faux snow will give it a classical Christmas look.

  • The minimalist beauty

A beautiful nearly bare tree with little use of lights and small ornaments is something you need this Christmas.

  • Silver classy

Have you tried mismatching golden, grey and silver? If you, this is your sign to try that. White colour never goes out of the trend. Try this monochromatic Christmas with little metallic touch in the form of ornaments if different shape and sizes.

  • The paper pom

Use DIY paper craft to create a mini version of a Christmas tree for your kids and keep it in the drawing room for the guests to see this.

  • Cherry white

A red and white combination never goes out the trend and especially when it has to be theme to decorate the Christmas tree. Try using snowball ornaments, faux red berries, wooden beads and red and white Christmas balls to decorate and to give a pop of colour. Voila !!! it’s done.

  • Pretty pink

A non-traditional colour for the Christmas would be pretty pink. You can combine it with white, blue or gold or if you want to go monochromatic, the you can Use darker and lighter shades of the colour.

  • Colourful

Well, now!  For this one, don’t hold back yourself anyways and use any garland, balls, stars and the ornaments in any colour you’d like to have for the fun and Whimsy look.
